Ferry Lane (South) and Coldharbour Lane – Proposed Raised Zebra Crossings and Parking Bays
Overview
Havering Council is looking for your views on proposals to introduce raised zebra crossings, raised road surfaces and the introduction of free parking bays with limited parking between Monday and Saturday, 8.00am to 6.30pm along Ferry Lane South and Coldharbour Lane.
The zebra crossings will provide pedestrian crossing facilities to connect the strategic pedestrian route from Rainham Marshes to River Thames.
These proposals have been designed to improve pedestrian facilities and prevent uncontrolled long term parking.
We would like to have your comments on these proposals. The relevant notices, notice of proposals and plans can be seen below, and along with the public consultation letter, can also be found in the related documents section further below.
Any person desiring to object to the proposals or make other representation should send a statement in writing and the grounds thereof to Senior Schemes Engineer, Traffic and Parking, Town Hall, Main Road, Romford, RM1 3BB, or by email at schemes@havering.gov.uk, quoting reference QV002 to arrive by 18 November 2022.
