Conservation Area Appraisals -Havering-atte-Bower, The Langtons and RAF Hornchurch

Overview

Conservation Areas are areas which have been designated because of their special architectural or historic interest.

Havering has 11 Conservation Areas, each with an adopted Conservation Area Appraisal and Management Plan (CAAMPs). These CAAMPs help to ensure Conservation Areas are protected from unsympathetic development and alterations.

CAAMPs for Havering-atte-Bower, the Langtons, and RAF Hornchurch were adopted in 2011 and 2012.  The Council has been working with consultants Purcell to update the CAAMPs for these three Conservation Areas.

CAAMPs have been drafted for Havering-atte-Bower, the Langtons, and RAF Hornchurch and the Council are now seeking comments on the documents. Please fill out the online survey below to share your views. The consultation closes 22 April, 11:59pm.

The draft CAAMPs are available to view and download at the bottom of this page.

The Council held a consultation event for each Conservation Area to discuss the documents and to gain views and feedback on these dates:
