Phillida Road Parking Questionnaire

Closed 5 May 2023

Opened 14 Apr 2023

Overview

Following reports made to us by residents, Havering Council would like to hear your views on a number of potential options to help towards resolving parking issues in your road.

There are 3 options currently being considered which are:

Option 1 – Introduction of double yellow lines on one side of Phillida Road.  Excludes across dropped kerbs and small areas of raised kerb.

This will prevent vehicles parking opposite each other and causing an obstruction at all times.  However, these restrictions will also apply to residents.

Option 2 – Introduction of single yellow lines on one side of Phillida Road.   Excludes across dropped kerbs and small areas of raised kerb.

This will prevent vehicles parking opposite each other and causing an obstruction during the times of operation. However, these restrictions will also apply to residents.

Option 3 – Introduction of a ‘Residents Only Permit Parking Area’.

This will prevent any vehicles other than residents with valid permits, from parking in Phillida Road during the times of operation. This option reserves parking on Phillida Road for residents but there would be no lines or dedicated bays. However, residents will be required to purchase a valid permit should they wish to park on the road.

Please refer to the three designs at the bottom of this page:

Plan 1 showing the introduction of double yellow lines.

Plan 2 showing the introduction of single yellow lines.

Plan 3 showing the introduction of a 'Residents Permit Parking Area'.
