Young People's Consultation on a Proposed Borough-Wide Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO)
Overview
Havering's Public Spaces: Young People's Survey
Welcome 👋
We want to hear from young people aged 10 and over about public spaces in Havering, such as parks, streets, shopping areas, and places near schools and stations.
Havering Council is considering introducing a Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO).
A PSPO is a set of rules that can help authorised officers deal with behaviour that causes harm, fear, nuisance or serious disturbance to others.
The proposed rules are not intended to stop young people meeting friends, socialising, or enjoying public spaces. They are aimed at tackling behaviour that negatively affects other people and local communities.
Your views are important and will help us understand what young people think about the proposals.
✅ There are no right or wrong answers. We simply want your honest opinions.
🔒 Please do not include your name, address, school, social media details, or anyone else's personal information in your answers.
Do I have to take part?
No. Taking part is entirely your choice.
If you decide to complete the survey but later change your mind, you can stop at any time. You do not need to give a reason.
How will my information be used?
The information you provide will be used to help us understand young people's views on the proposed PSPO.
Your answers will be combined with those from other people who take part in the consultation. We will use the results to help inform decisions about the proposals.
None of the information you provide will be used to identify you.
