Overview

Havering Council is consulting on the removal of one tree:

Following resident enquiries regarding:

  • Damage to a driveway.
  • Uneven footpath creating a trip hazard, particularly concerning for a mobility-impaired resident.

Footpath cannot be effectively resurfaced without the removal of the tree.

We will only remove trees that are dead, dying, diseased or dangerous.  Whilst not an immediate danger, this tree has proven to be a cause of ongoing damage to property, and as such are likely to pose an increasing risk over the coming years.

We aim to replace all trees that we need to remove once funding allows, assuming replacement is appropriate to the location.
