Havering Council Notice of Street Tree Removal - Priory Road, Romford

Overview

Havering Council is consulting on the removal of two trees: 

Location Reference Number Reason for removal
On the Green in front of No. 2 and No. 4 Priory Road RM3 9AT TR1 and TR2

2 Oak trees

Removal due to ongoing subsidence damage.

Current vegetation management does not provide sufficient ground stabilisation.

 

Whilst not an immediate danger, these trees have proven to be a cause of ongoing damage to property, and as such are likely to pose an increasing risk over the coming years.

We aim to replace all trees that we need to remove once funding allows, assuming replacement is appropriate to the location.

We would like to have your comments on these proposals. You can do this by completing our consultation or by submitting a representation in writing to:
