Overview
Havering Council is consulting on the removal of two trees:
Location | Reference Number | Reason for removal |
---|---|---|
Outside 42 Hall Lane, Upminster | TR000011049 | Elm tree with split stem. Dieback in upper canopy indicating Dutch Elm disease, likely to result in on-going decline. |
Outside 42 Hall Lane, Upminster | TR000011048 | Elm tree with one stem. Dieback in upper canopy indicating Dutch Elm disease, likely to result in on-going decline. |

We will only remove trees that are dead, dying, diseased or dangerous. Whilst not an immediate danger, these trees are exhibiting symptoms of Dutch Elm disease, which is highly contagious within the Elm population. It is therefore recommended to fell to mitigate spread.
