Overview

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Havering (“the Council”), under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to install a new Toucan Crossing with associated tactile paving (to help visually impaired pedestrians), zig-zag road markings and traffic signals, as detailed in schedule 1 of this notice - please see below for Section 23 Notice and related documents for more detail.

A copy of the plan showing the location of the proposed crossing together with the Council’s statement of reasons for these proposed measures may be viewed from 5th August 2022 to 19th August 2022.

Any person desiring to object to the proposals or make other representation should send a statement in writing and the grounds thereof to Senior Schemes Engineer, Traffic and Parking, Town Hall, Main Road, Romford, RM1 3BB, or by email at schemes@havering.gov.uk, quoting reference QQ041/Toucan Crossing to arrive by 19th August 2022.
