Reception class application information 2026

Overview

Please help us to support parents and carers in completing school applications for children who are eligible to start reception in September 2026.

As Early Years Providers offering childcare to funded children, we kindly ask for your assistance in collecting identifiable information from parents and carers.

This information will be securely matched with data held by the School Admissions Team. The purpose is to help identify which children have submitted school applications and to highlight any that may still be outstanding.

Why your views matter

We kindly ask that you continue to collect identifiable information from parents and carers on a regular basis and input this into the survey as part of your ongoing support.

The survey will remain open until the school application deadline on 15 January 2026, allowing you to update information as needed throughout the application period.
